Come at opening on weekday. Parking in the back. Order all the specials. It did not disappoint.

This Crab Tempura Roll was super tasty! Only thing I'd add is a sweet sauce to balance out the natural savoriness and saltiness of the soy sauce. This place was super busy, so we waited about 30 min to be seated. It is a small space with minimal decoration. Our servers were very nice and attentive, but they kept forgetting our ginger after we asked for it. Sustainability note: Straws are automatically given in all drinks without notice. Chopsticks are disposable.

Look, the wait was LONG. We had gotten there on a Tuesday night and we managed to get our name down. Walked over to a local bar for a drink before dinner. When I tell you it was WORTH. THE. WAIT. The food here is phenomenal, the staff was so cool and energetic, which is surprising considering how busy they were. This place doesn't look glitzy and glamorous but if you're a foodie you know those places have the best food. Definitely worth the wait and I can't wait to do it again.

Came for weekday lunch and had a fantastic meal here! My friend and I walked in and there was no wait. We ordered: + Miso soup + Albacore with crispy onion sushi + Yellowtail sushi + Salmon with truffle oil sushi + Seared scallop sushi + Crab dynamite roll + tuna lemon roll + Spicy tuna with crispy rice roll The highlights were the yellowtail, salmon with truffle oil and seared scallop. Also really liked the albacore with crispy onion. I thought the sushi was better than the rolls, so will stick to that next time, but overall fantastic!!

If it weren't for the divine delicious sushi, I'd be giving this spot 3 stars. I came during lunch (1p, kitchen closes at 2p) and the service was really distracting as tables were being bussed and we were being rushed or ignored. It's a smaller restaurant, so if you're coming with a group, be mindful. The crab hand rolls and sushi lunch meal were best I've had in a while.

Came here on a Tuesday evening with a friend. Note that they have a shared back parking lot but it was kind of difficult to locate the entrance and there aren't a ton of spaces. We were going to a candlelight concert after and worried about time but the waitlist actually went very quickly. Put down my name around 7:15pm and was seated around 7:45pm. It's quite small inside and we were seated at the bar. We ordered the Hina roll, toro sashimi, uni nigiri, scallop nigiri, tamago nigiri, and the toro with jalapeño cilantro & truffle ponzu sauce. The fish tasted very fresh and the orders came out quickly. Everything was delicious - my favorite was probably the toro with truffle ponzu. But I'm biased cause I love truffle anything! We ended up getting service directly from one of the sushi chefs and multiple servers that were walking around. Our empty plates were bussed quickly between orders, and It worked out for our timing because we had somewhere to be after. It made sense they were trying to move quickly for the dinner rush. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for quality sushi from a cute local spot. Looking forward to coming back to try the other menu items!

Oh my ~~ I understand why people come super early to stand in line to eat here. It's a small hole in the wall and if it wasn't for my friend I would have never noticed this place. I'm thinking only locals know?! Well let me tell you we had about 10 dishes and I'm sure we could have devoured twenty more plates! It was that good! The cucumber salad that's not pictured here is a must order item. It's refreshing and those egg plants are yummy!!! Every sushi is fresh and delicious! It's a must must go to sushi spot! Trust me you won't be disappointed

Came here for lunch around 1:00 on a Friday. We were able to get seated fairly quickly! I ordered the Hina roll, which was recommended by my waitress. The fish was very fresh and the roll had a unique combination of flavors. I expected more spice with the jalapeño, so if you normally stray from spice, I wouldn't let the jalapeño scare you! A tasty roll and quick service!

Phenomenal and reasonably priced sushi in WeHo. Stumbled across this place while perusing Yelp and this place had NO MISSES. My boyfriend and I got in line at around 7 and waited around an hour 15 minutes for a table for 2 -- not too shabby for a Saturday night. We were seated at the bar and greeted by the sweetest lil' old Japanese sushi chef. The inside is very no frills: tables, bar seating, and some Japanese prints on the wall. This place was popping and packed to the brim. I already knew we were in for a good night when I saw how crowded it was in there. We ordered an insane spread, but like I mentioned earlier, not a single item order was a miss. We started with a miso soup and the house salad. Solid. Spicy tuna crispy rice was so insanely good. The fish was so fresh, and the rice was perfectly cooked: moist and fluffy and crispy on the outside. So good we ordered 2. Oops... Every other sushi/sashimi we got was on point. Personal favorites of the night would have to be the seared albacore belly, miso black cod sushi, and seared toro, but again, everything was stellar. List of everything we ordered: Jumbo scallop sushi Yellowtail w jalapeño and yuzu ponzu sauce Albacore with crispy onion and garlic ponzue sashimi Baked black cod with sweet miso sushi Miu roll (albacore sashimi w spicy tuna) Salmon avocado handroll Spicy yellowtail cut roll Seared toro sushi Seared albacore belly handroll Spicy tuna crispy rice x2 Miso soup x2 House salad Service was prompt and attentive. Will 100% be back!!!
